How to Add/Remove programs in Windows XP

Here is a step by step detailed procedure on how to add / remove programs in windows xp.

Click on Start and then on Control Panel.

Select "Add or Remove Programs"

The Add/Remove Programs window opens up.

Select any program that you want to uninstall from the list. The "Click here for support information" is displayed which will display the support information for the associated program.


Click on "Add New Programs" Tab to install a new program from CD. Click on the Windows Update to download system updates from the Microsoft website.

Click on Add/ Remove Windows components. This will open up the windows components wizard. You can arr or remove the desired programs from the list. Click on Details to get the full listing of the programs within each group.
